Music, art, games and laughs are what do it for me.
I enjoy going to live events (concerts, sports, theater, anything really). I'm the kind of person who has the attitude 'wherever I am, that's the coolest place to be', I enjoy anything!
I love animals, the KC Zoo is one of my favorite places here in town. I play guitar and keyboards and am writing songs to record later this year. I dig movies, either going out to see them or staying in for a quiet night. I read sometimes, but prefer something active. I have a 7 year old daughter, her name is Alison, she means the world to me...
Who I'd like to meet:
People with similar intrests...
I have been lucky enough to actually meet a few of my heroes (David Bowie, Laurie Anderson, Sam Kinison, others), but sadly, Basquiat, Hendrix and Frank Zappa were a few I missed.
Still waiting in line are Genesis P Orridge, Jim Carroll and Jello Biafra.
On a more personal level...
That special person must have a love of rock and dance music. Someone who enjoys movies, animals and going out to eat. I like to keep it simple. Someone who doesn't mind hanging out playing games, reading, or just sitting together, being close. Conversation is always welcome, but plenty can be communicated using quiet methods...
I'm looking for someone to go to the zoo with, see a few concerts, maybe a play or two... I need someone who likes to lean their head on my shoulder and not be afraid to tell me what they think.
Music has to be pretty important to them because I've always got some playing through my speakers, on guitar or in my head. I was just born that way.
